Screenshots are real. Names, contact details and logos have been replaced.
The problem
The owner wanted players to book a court online without their names and phone numbers showing to other players, and wanted to hear about every booking straight away.
The approach
Guests get a read-only availability calendar. Names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses sit behind the admin sign-in. Players sign in with a six-digit code sent by e-mail, or book as a guest. The app sits alongside the hall’s own website. It doesn’t replace it.
What was built
A Czech-language booking app with a live availability calendar, code sign-in, guest booking, an admin area for the owner, e-mail and push alerts for every booking and cancellation, and two screenshot guides: one for players, one for the owner.
Proof points
- Guests see availability only. Names, phone numbers and e-mails are visible to the admin only.
- The owner gets an e-mail and a browser push alert for every booking and cancellation. Both were checked end to end: a real booking, a real push through Chrome, a real e-mail in an inbox.
- Czech interface, with a public guide for players and a separate one for the owner, also as PDFs.
- Covered by automated unit and browser tests.
